Fast Food Industry Research Study

JobWatch has completed a major research study into the experiences and problems of young workers in the fast food industry.

The study is based on the findings of a survey of 599 young people from 278 fast food outlets across 146 suburbs in metropolitan and country Victoria.

Major areas of concern identified by the study include occupational health and safety, workplace violence and bullying, child employment permits, discrimination, non-payment of wages, and lack of knowledge of legal entitlements.
