JobWatch is at the forefront of the campaign against Workplace Violence and has been instrumental in lobbying for appropriate government action on this alarming workplace trend.

The Australian Institute of Criminologoy has awarded JobWatch three Violence Prevention Awards for community education in 1997, 1998 and 1999.

A new self help guide - "Workplace Violence - Your Rights - What to do and Where to go for Help" is available . Various types of workplace violence including physical, verbal, sexual and racial are covered. The booklet will be translated into several community languages in 2002.
